Christmas Decorations

Bill added the decorations to the outside of the house. Since the boys won't be here for Christmas he toned it down a bit from last year, but I really like it alot.

Decorations of Red on a Green Christmas Tree.

The almost finished tree. Wyatt comes every year and puts up my tree and then I put the ornaments on it, but this year he did that as I had all the Possible Dream Santas to unwrap; that was like Christmas itself. My favorite one; Christmas Moose.. he looks like Uncle Griff.

Good thing the light are already on the tree...that part is fabulous.

Really; truly; they are all my favorite and Jessica started a bad thing, but I love this one; he has a small marshmellow in his cup of hot chocolate. Warming his feet by the fire.

Ok where is the D*** plug in???

The Rest of The Thanksgiving Crowd 2009

Thanksgiving and the Dangling Participle!

Sorry Dad got you taking a bite, but that's what Thanksgiving is about...good company, good food, and lots of laughter. I think it started by dad saying something about Laura having a Masters Degree and she said yes in speech. Then he just asked out of the blue do you know what a dangling participle is and it just went from there. We had lots of fun with that one. The turkey was the best one we ever had. Tom was fired from carving it, but he did praise me for the good job Idid. Katie pondering just what is a dangling participle.

Elaine's Birthday

Elaine had another birthday and wanted to have lunch at Red Robin. Jim, Grandma Norma, Amanda, Mindy and I met to tell her Happy birthday. They were too busy to sing to her, but she got a chocolate sundae. That was better anyway. Amanda and her Grandma Norma

She didn't share either. (not really)

Happy 80th Birthday

This is my Aunt Ellerene, she turns 80 on the 25th of November and her family had an open house birthday party in Plymouth UT. There were a lot of people there and cousins I haven't seen forever. Tommy and Wyatt went with me. I enjoyed the time we spent; that has been a long time too. I told them of all the fun I had as a kid in Malad and Plymouth and they thought otherwise. As a kid there was nothing like going to my Grandparents in Malad and Samaria. Plymouth was where all my cousins lived and some still do. Good memories. (a few tears)

Look Familar???

Nows he is putting a new handrail on our front walk. He said he was worried about Kyler falling off the porch...too late he already has and survived it.
Looks like putting teeth in place.

Almost done and it is looking good.

Done and I got to pose by the finished product even though I did nothing to help. It is great.

He Just Can't Stop

Bill is at it again. We had a pretty good mailbox, but he wanted better so he put a new one in this weekend. Why he wants to come home and work when he had worked all week is beyond me. I like to rest.
He's so happy!!!
Putting on the house numbers.

The finished product. I get to plant flowers in it in the Spring.

Dogs checking out the new mailbox. Hope the mailman (James ) approves. I like it a lot.

Red Hat Outing

We went to Dillard's for a bra fitting. I thought I was doing a favor for Sheryl (which we were) but it was also for the Susan G Komen for the Cure foundation. So for each bra fitting $2.00 was donated for breast cancer research. Too bad out of the 7 that said they would go only 3 of us showed up. We had a ball. Our fitters were Sheryl, Julie and Ashley. They were great and very patient with us while we found the right bra. They even want us to come back and wear our hats next time. Good cause and good clean fun.Of course there can't be a Red Hat outing without some fun fun fun!

We are all so proud!
(some more than others)

Going camping and now the bears can't find me!

Wishful thinking that mine were still this perky! (and small)

The Pirate...

Kyler is my favorite pirate; much cuter the Johnny Depp (Katie)This is where he told his Mom to walk the plank and then he smacked her with his Captain Hook sword. I tired to get the red eye out, but I think it is for real. :)
We were laughing at him so hard, I had tears in my eyes.

Arrrg' Walk the plank matey or else.

I am backing up for a reason. He is very dramatic and loved his costume.

Sammy is a Jumping Monkey!

Sara is hiding and was not suppose to be in the picture, but she didn't tell me that was what she was doing. I was just excited to take a picture of cute Sammy.Sammy had had it by the time I got to this picture and it was very hot.
All I can say is cute monkey!

Banana snak for later.

Four Wheeling in the Desert

Kyler found what he called a snake hole and I was hoping it was only a furry animal hole not a snake.Kyler has gotten so big and can really ride his 4-wheeler. I hate they grow up fast.

Over the hills and trails.

Eat my dust Mom and Grandma!
